VAT applicable in the country of rental, any optional goods or services not automatically included in the Public Rate, such as without limitation additional insurances, additional drivers, additional equipment, e.g. baby seats, snow chains and GPS units, etc., whether booked online or purchased at the Europcar counter, and any additional charges, whether mandatory or optional, such as without limitation fuel charges, applicable local taxes, airport charge, damage charges pertaining to vehicle repairs, etc., any additional fees, such as without limitation registration fees, ecological fees, etc., any cancellation, modification or no show fees. 2. All public rates are qualifying rentals and therefore eligible for points accrual except : Tour Operator rates, broker rates, travel industry staff rates, special rates for corporate clients, truck rates, reward rentals, car replacement, long term rentals, chauffeur service, shuttle rates, some company rates, special rates, negotiated rates and complimentary rates. 3. Members must present their MéliaRewards card or quote their membership number at the Europcar counter to earn points. 4. Europcar rates are inclusive of all mandatory charges, so there are no hidden extras. They include : tax, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Waiver (TW), airport charges and vehicle registration fee when applicable. Mileage is usually unlimited, except in some countries or rental products where limited mileage may apply. Please refer to the rate conditions during the booking process. Discount applies on the basic rental rate excluding additional charges. 5. MéliaRewards members may change or cancel their booking online by going to the Cancel/Modify section of the dedicated website or by calling Europcar’s Reservation Centers. 6. Miles will be credited to the member’s account 8 weeks after completion of car rental. 7. Europcar General Terms & Conditions of the rental country shall apply
