Diesel option: Guaranteed diesel vehicles

You can now book hire cars with the diesel option at all Europcar stations in Germany. For a small surcharge per day, we will provide you with a hire car with an efficient diesel engine.

1. save costs: The price of a litre of diesel in the EU is usually cheaper than a litre of petrol.

2. Fuel efficiency: diesel engines are often more efficient in terms of fuel consumption than petrol engines, which can save additional money.

3. Technology delivers performance: thanks to modern technology, diesel engines are now on a par with petrol engines in terms of performance.

To reserve a diesel hire car at www.europcar.de, simply select the "Diesel option" in the "Extras" section when booking your hire car and add it to your shopping basket. The exact booking steps are explained below:

1. start at www.europcar.de.

2. enter your desired rental data (station, date, time).

3. select a vehicle category to your liking (please note: the diesel option does not apply to the Mini and Economy vehicle categories).

4. now select the "Diesel option" in the "Extras" section. One click is all it takes and the diesel option for your selected vehicle will be added to the shopping basket.

5. now just complete the booking and we will do our best to provide you with a diesel vehicle on the day of your pick-up.

If this is not possible despite careful planning, the diesel option will be cancelled directly by one of our station employees and the amount will be refunded to you immediately.
