Although the maximum speed limit is 90 km/h in Corsica, the wind, rugged terrain, and poor condition of some roads often make it impossible to drive faster than 60 km/h.

Some small roads are not in very good condition, with potholes and narrow passages. Also, be attentive to slow vehicles, animals on the road, as well as scooters and motorcycles, which are often popular means of transport among tourists in the summer.
